This Hybrid Acting Class in collaboration with FILM FEST OBERURSEL will introduce actors and directors to a clear, practical set of tools for text analysis and rehearsal that will allow you to feel relaxed, grounded and confident in your performance choices every time!
Attendees may attend in person at the Film Fest location or join online from anywhere in the world - Tom will be coaching online, on camera!
This class offers first hand experience of the way New York City & L.A.-based Producer, Director and Performance Coach - Tom Todoroff - coaches and directs actors and directors. It's a sample of the ongoing training he offers live, online, all over the world every week on Saturdays, Mondays, Tuesdays in The Weekly Workshop.
This is also an opportunity to gain valuable insights into the film, tv and theater industry!
Instruction will be done by way of demonstration. So attendees may volunteer to perform a 1-2 minute monologue and receive personalized coaching in front of the group! Tom will coach several actors on their prepared pieces to demonstrate a technique that will ignite your imagination and help you craft the most dynamic, compelling performance possible!
Attendees are also welcome to observe only if preferred! Tom will answer questions from the group, as time allows, at the end of the session.
This class will be held in English. However, you are not required to speak and may only observe / listen if that's your preference!

Tom Todoroff is an NYC & LA-based Producer / Director / Performance Coach who has worked with Peter O’Toole, Harrison Ford, Liam Neeson, Sasha Alexander, Dakota Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson, Tony Goldwyn and Bob Hoskins among many others. Tom's students range from the most accomplished TV, Film and Theater professionals, to passionate enthusiasts who are just beginning to explore the world of acting, directing and storytelling. In the interest of time and fairness, names will be pulled from a 'hat' to determine who will perform during the class - Tom will work with as many actors as time allows! If you request to perform, please be off-book and ready to go if called upon!
